what you can do to prevent burnout
Below you can get an idea of how the process would look like. Of course, it is hard to say how long each case will take because this highly depends on the person and the specific situation he or she is in.
the Process explained
1.
identify source of your stress
The most important thing is that you check with yourself where your stress comes from. Be honest with yourself and acknowledge the cause. This could be an external cause such as work or a relationship or an internal cause such as worrying or worrying about something. Whatever it is, it is important that you acknowledge this because only then is there room for step 2.
2.
take action and create space
As long as you continue to experience stress, there is no room for recovery and you will deflate further and further. Now that you know what the causes are, it's time to act. Tackle the source so that you create space to catch your breath. I know this is easier said than done but it is absolutely necessary to reduce your stress. If you don't do this, or if you postpone it, you run the risk of pushing yourself too far, which leads to burnout.
3.
to upload
Chronic stress is a robbery of your body and mind. You have been under pressure for a long time which means that your body and your mind need time to to recharge. You do this by giving it all the tools it needs. What are those tools?
Nutrition
Movement
sleep
Lifestyle

Your body and mind are part of a fantastic machine and if you give it what it needs then you will be amazed at the resilience.
4.
reflection
When you get a little more energy and can think more clearly, it is time to reflect on what has ensured that you got into this position. This phase is super important because there is ALWAYS a lesson to be found and it will help you avoid situations like this in the future.
5.
insight and action
often come certain insights arise from the period of reflection and actions often result from these insights. What could those be? It may be that you want to adjust things in your life or that you realize that you still have some points of interest. In practice, it is almost always a combination of the two.
